Thelifeinsurancepolicy Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the personal information collected via this website. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number ZB806874. Our full details are on our Imprint page.

Depending on how you interact with Thelifeinsurancepolicy, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

We do not collect or store any life insurance quotation, application or policy data. All of that is handled directly by Vitality on their own secure portal.

  • Measure aggregated, anonymous usage of our site via analytics cookies.

6. International transfers

All our service providers are either UK-based or operate from within the European Economic Area. Where a transfer outside the UK is unavoidable, we use UK IDTA / Addendum to the EU SCCs to ensure your data is protected to UK GDPR standards.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep contact form enquiries for up to 24 months, after which they are securely deleted. Aggregated analytics are retained for 26 months. We keep records needed to satisfy legal or tax obligations for the periods required by UK law.

8. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Restrict or object to our processing of your data.
  • Request portability of your data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
